booked a room for a disabled person. Bath fitted not a shower. shower over bath did not work. Toilet seat broken. tea making facilities poor. Free biscuits had been opened and one missing. Resturant closed although web site stated it was open on the evening we stayed.

Bonjour, Le seul point négatif à signaler est le suivant: Nous sommes venus nous enregistrer le 26 août PM et porter nos bagages dans notre chambre, quand nous sommes revenus à l'hôtel vers minuit, il n'y avait plus personne à l'accueil contrairement à ce que l'on nous avait dit. Nous avions beau sonner, téléphoner rien à faire. Sans nos bagages à cette heure de la nuit que pouvions nous faire. Heureusement qu'après 1h30 passé devant l'hôtel une bande de joyeux fêtards est sortie en nous ouvrant la porte et en nous donnant le code d'entrée. Le lendemain il n'y avait encore personne à la réception vers minuit mais heureusement pour nous le code n'avait pas été modifié. (2599380)

Was disappointed that restaurant was not open on evening of arrival (Saturday) after 500 mile drive, but were told of this on immeiate arrival at the hotel and told of two local alternatives. Breakfast fine though. Check out also efficient, with well explained bill. Directions given on internet site worked well to find hotel. We used hotel for both south and northbound overnight stays and restaurant open for first stay - good food but not overkeen on buffet starter and desert. (2208551)

General decoration of room could be improved upon, but overall not a major critisism as only staying for overnight stopover.

I was a bit annoyed that no food was available on the Sunday night I arrived. I think this was told me on booking, but I am a bit vague about that and it should be made very clear at the time of booking. The accomodation was typical travellers hotel, clean and tidy and a good price. (2578610)

It was clean, tidy and easy to get to. The accomodation was for one night and I was very content there. The staff were helpful.

I was there on a Sunday night and the restaurant was closed. THis meant I had to travel on my motorcycle to another hotel with a restaurant. I actually didn't eat at this restaurant, but chose a Grill next door, but it still meant travelling.

in general i was satisfied, the only problem i found was that i could not indicate on the online booking that we had a 2 year old child with us, so therefore we had a room with one double bed with no childrens bed.. fortunately we could change that on arrival to a room with one double and one single bed. the hotel was o.k. I've sent an E-mail before we'll get there if they could send me the right directions to drive to the hotel, as I had read in reviews, that the information was insufficient. it was in a quiet place and easy to find

make the staff speak english in stead of only french, as we are dutch and speak english as well as french, but not as good as a native speaker. We did not like it that te restaurant was closed at saturday evening. We were in a Comfort hotel in Tourgoing ( Lille ) last night and there was the restaurant also closed. In Chateauroux wasn't even a coffee-or cold drinks-automat. So you could not get a thing to eat or drink. This was very poor, as it was very hot outside and we were very thirsty.
