Evening meal menu limited. I basically paid about 30 pounds for two cheeseburgers with frys and side salad. Should have gone to Mc Donalds round the corner.

We have specific dietery requirements and phoned the hotel a week in advance to check how they could cater for us. We left a phone message on the answerphone of the head chef & didn't expect to hear back, but within 2 days the head chef had contacted us & answered all our questions. Clean rooms, helpful & efficient staff

Overall the hotel is fair, although the 4* is slightly overated. Before I booked I would like to have known that the process to check out would take over 20 minutes, only one member of staff was on duty. (99031775)

I thought the rooms were very basic, considering they had a 4* rating. The additional accommodation in the seperate building requires refurbishment. Additional staff required at check out procedure.

Was a great hotel, in a stunning setting with loads to offer and loads to do- a bar, pool and jacuzzi, pool table, big sized jenga and connect 4 were great! Staff very helpful and friendly too. Great brekkie. Great value for money. The free drinks station thingybobs were fantastic too! Had a really great relaxing stay, in a gorgeous hotel!

I would have loved the bar and/ or the pool to be open later, but I understand this is most probably not feesable. More tea and coffee etc in the room would have been great- I appreciate I could have asked for this and most likely got it though. Bubblebath to use would have been a bonus too, as there wasn't any, and I forgot to bring any! Finally we were sorted out after 5minutes, but none of the breakfast tables were layed.

Breakfast was good, only first day we came down at 9.30 and not everything was available. Second morning was fine.

Room was not cleaned and bed not made for us, as we stayed two night I did think we would have had maid service.

The attention of the staff was good, the meals represented very goood value and were enjoyable. I requested a non smoking room and was allocated a smoking room, presumably no rooms for non smokers were available, but there had been no attempt to freshen the stale air in the room as an awareness of our request for a non smoking room. The use of an odour removing spray would make a difference! As a smoking room for non smokers, the stale and smoky atmosphere was unpleasant and spoiled what was otherwise an pleasing facility.
