Clean, minimalist design

Despite the air conditioning the room was too hot & stuffy. A fan would have helped especially as it was not possible to keep the windows open because of the noise.

Minimalist in design with whitewashed walls and polished wood floors. There is a pervading smell which I think was beeswax polish for the floors - but it was not a problem. Rooms were also minimalist but had TV, phone and hair dryer. There was no wardrobe or drawers - only a hanging rail and perspex shelves which may not suit some. The large bathroom had an unusual large perspex trough-shaped basin as well as a standard bath with shower attachment but no shower curtain. Beds were comfortable - with sheets and blanket rather than duvet - but there were no comfy chairs in the room. Unusual stud secured covers covered the two sealed double glazed unit windows, one of which could be opened. The units kept much of the noise out - but Nantes does not appear to be a rowdy place anyway. The buffet breakfast was excellent. No other meals available. A good value hotel for a few nights city break - located ideally in the city centre just at Place du Cirque tram stop and near the Commerce tram interchange. (3304603699)

found it easy to find the hotel although had difficulty understanding where the car parking was as the receptionist was also unsure. Appart from this the receptionist was very helpful and gave us good insider knowledge of where to go and what to see in the city. An clean well-run hotel, ideal for the tired business traveller. A suitable and substantial breakfast to start the day. Courteous and competent staff. Booking out was rapid and the taxi arrived on time. I could not wish for more from a three-star hotel. (2136446)

An ideal Hotel for a leisure break in Nantes. Easy check in / out. Parking is in a public car park across the road, you get the ticket stamped by the Hotel receptionist to recieve a special parking rate. Watch out for the trams. We eat out so cannot comment on Hotel dining. (1426911)
