The room was clean and nice (although small). Surprising that the room could be so quiet and paeceful in such noisy surroundings.

I was disappointed to find no tea-making equipment. It would have been nice to find two bits of chocolate (and not only one) on the pillow when we returned at night.

The convenient location of the hotel is likely to bring me back to this hotel hoping that they have taken note of my comments concerning the breakfast tea.

Hotel is central to theatreland. The rooms are well sound insulated and not overheated

Breakfast tea was the worst i have tasted in any hotel in the last twenty years anywhere in the world. Even the replacement tea was barely satisfactory. The situation was made worse by serving tea in mugs that i would expect to find on a building site.

I'd been stayed in better rooms for this price, however, the location compesates this.
If the carpets and bathroom were nicer it would be a excelent hotel.
Breakfast is good and you can have a discont once you do your check in.

Location of the hotel is fantastic, just near teathers, restaurants, trafalgar square, etc.

carpets and bathroom need to be changed and updated.

Overall we had a great time. We did not spend a lot of time in our room, so the dislikes where not too much of an issue. We were cenrally located and could walk very easily to Covent Garden, Busckingham Palace, and various museums that we wanted to visit. Taxis and other transport were readily available and not overly expensive. There was plenty to do, although we had pre arranged some things before our arrival. The reasonalbe price of the room was a reflection of the fact that the hotel was being refurbished. However I didn't realse that breakfast was extra - but we were given

location was good, accommodation was comforatable and breakfast was good. Price was reasonable

it was under refurbishment and we didn't know until we arrived, so windows had scaffold at them and that made the room dark. The down side of a great location meant a lot of noise at night.

Unfortunately the building was covered in Scaffolding, presumably for mainainence purposes. I was using the room for business purposes during the morning prior to checkout but was unable to open the curtains for natural sunlight. If I had been pre warned of this I would certainly have booked into an alternative hotel.

reasonably spacious but for a 'superior' room I have certainly stayed in better appointed rooms

constant noise from the plumbing
