Convenient and reasonably priced for an overnight stay in London.
(107422432)

A good place to stay when catching Eurostar - room and facilities perfectly adequate and staff generally helpful.

The 'kitchen unit' seemed a rather odd use of space - it included a fridge which was good but the sink and cupboards were not needed - a cupboard unit or similar would have been more useful. Carpets were a bit grubby and worn.

I was pleasantly surprised and was expecting a lower standard than I got.
A reputedly 'dodgy' area of the City (Kings Cross), but I encountered no problems and the hotel staff were friendly.
(107921317)

Clean, spacious room and ensuite.
Comfortable, but firm bed.

Only basic TV - small 14" tv on a bracket about 2.5m up!
Thin walls - the party next door was particularly noisy with the TV volume and numerous visitors.

We paid the same price at Cambridge prior to using Arriva Hotel only a week ago, the room was better equipped and we had full British Breakfast without queueing.

The room was okay for one or two nights. Would want something more comfortable if I was staying longer. Convenient location.
(108089064)

Reception very friendly. Provision of fridge in room very useful.
Useful to be able to leave luggage after check out

Have to leave key when going out
Was asked for passport on checking in. The receptionist assumed, based on appearance, that I wasn't a British citizen. He apologised for his mistake, and it isn't a complaint - but it could annoy someone else a lot more.

I would be nice to have the option of an English breakfast at an extra cost. Overall a nice hotel with polite staff and very clean.

It was cosy, clean and tidy.

The only criticism I have is that the reception area looks cold and uninviting. It looks like a hostal.

this hotel was in a good location, 5 mins walk to tube and 10 mins tube ride away from all good hotspots i.e. leicester square, piccadilly circus, oxford street. the room was small but we were never in it long enough for this to be a problem, this would be great for a young couple who just need their hotel for a bed and quick shower. the room and en-suite were cleaned daily. there was no problems upon arrival, check in was quick and easy and there was someone on reception 24 hours to let you in, no matter what time you rolled in.
i would stay here again on my next to trip to london, it was a basic hotel but the location makes it good enough to go back. it was a good rate to pay in london and also for somewhere so close to a fantastic network link
(97224195)

the location - 5 min walk from kings cross underground
the room was clean and had everything we needed, good en-suite, tv, hairdryer, fridge was a bonus and fresh sheets and towels everyday, 24 hour reception

the room was a bit small but served its purpose

Perfect for budget one night stopover. If visiting London for a few days on a citybreak however then not so good as really the room was very cramped.
(97112874)

Very convenient for St Pancras Eurostar stopover since our train departed at 8.00am. Clean tidy and quiet and a bargain for the price on a Saturday night.

Really very small room and barely possible to get round the end of the bed. The bathroom was however a decent size and recently refitted.

adequate room size for the money

room and mirror dusty, doors of other rooms being slammed jostling one while asleep at night. recommends rubber stoppers for doors to minimize noise.

The hotel was well located and easy to find convenient to Kings Cross. The room was neat and clean although a little gloomy.
(97625892)

The shower room was good

The energy saving lighting gava a dull feel to the room and there was no remote for the TV

That it was close to all amenities.

The room was very hot, not sure why!, and no way to cool it down as the window only opened half way.

Overall an adequate hotel/B&B and good value for London. Let down by the breakfast experience. The dining room is in a functional windowless basement, the breakfast is uninspiring and the table cloths dirty from previous use.
(99142008)

Room was clean. Central Location.Quiet at night.Lifts to all floors.Decor generally good.

Sash cord on window broken.Room and en-suite small. No air conditioning.Breakfast and dining room disappointing.

24 hour reception, able to leave luggage before checking in and after checking out. Staff polite, service okay but only one pillow each (I always like 2) and when we asked, were unable to supply another until the following day - by which time we were checking out. Handy location for Kings Cross, easy to find. Reasonable value, no complaints but have stayed at nicer hotels in that area for the same price.
(99278223)

Warm and clean.

Breakfast sparse and somewhat lacking in choice.

I booked at double room as singles are sometimes small. The price paid at hotel was cheaper than the website for a single person in a double room. Room came with a fridge which was handy.

Limited breakfast items (i.e. drink, cereal, toast)

That is quite central and close to a tube station.

That it is in the middle of refurbishement. I had to change the room because the window didn't open and the TV wasn't working. There was also a lot of noise starting very early in the morning and workers just near my window. And the breakfast is quite miserable.

Central ans easy to find. Cheap but very basic. Room very tiny but clean and facilities working. Room downstairs very warm in summer and window has to be kept open at your own risk.
(3304976065)

Central & cheap

definetly the mattrass and the fact that the window , being downstairs and facing directly to the back, didn't have any protection. I felt unsafe

It was value for money. For the price, the room was very acceptable.

The staff were nice enough, but were not overly friendly or helpful.
