Very atractive hotel, great location, free internet. Very good breakfast. We were pleasatly suprised and enjoyed our breif stay very much. We came into Greenwich by boat, which is a lovely way to arrive. The hotel is a short walk from the river and close to all the action.

TV didn't work properly on arrival and needed some attention from staff to re program it. The room could have used a small fidge. We asked for a wake up call but didn't get one, fortunately we were awake anyway by that time. None of these points caused us too much concern however and didn't detract from the experience

safe & secure (well, except when housekeeping service left the door unlocked and ajar in the afternoon whilst we were out !!) as there is a swipe card access to ground floor lifts and from all stairwells. safe, free parking was also a plus point.

small sized room, badly angled mirror in bathroom and shower screen that was effectively fixed and did not swing - my wide, being small, could not reach round the screen to put the cold taps on and could not stand in the hot water to do so. bathroom needs more towel hooks as well.

The reception staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We were attending an event at the O2 arena and the receptionist that checked us in gave us very clear directions on how to get there and back. The room itself was a pleasant surprise. It was clean and very well presented and we had plenty of clean towels and toiletries. There was no problem with us coming back late after the concert and the reception staff again were very pleasant asking us if we had had a good evening. The breakfast the next morning was of an exceptional standard, and was hot and fresh. You could go back for more as many times as you liked. There was also a very good selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts and then a continantal selection. The only downside was that it gets very busy after about 9.30 and breakfast is only served until 10. And the only other thing that I didn;t like was the very early check out time! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and I will most definately choose this hotel again the next time I attend an event at the O2. (97833025)

Overall, though found it extremely quick and easy booking our room online three months before the actual date - would have liked to have known that online bookings took as much precedent as telephone/casual bookings. No listings were found of our booking and after a time consuming wait - and after producing a print out of the above, was finally located a room after two guests had been checked in with ultimate ease! Loved the high standards of care that went into the decor and maintenance of our room. Was extremely stunning - but also comfortable and daughter was extremely impressed by room. The dining facilities particularly breakfast were excellent! Love the warm and very personal service and greeting given when entering for breakfast - and the food is very accomodating and appetising!

Not impressed with the choice of the one television channel! Dissapointed in the lack of hot vegetarian cuisine offered for breakfast - hotel COULD try implementing vegetarian sausages/burgers - and offering soya milk for cereals!!

Website photographs are misleading. Photographs displayed showed colourful and modern rooms, however the room we got was completely different. It as grey, drab, small and had not been decorated for years. I understand hotels have to advertise their best rooms, but these photographs were not a true reflection of the hotel as a whole. Very pleasant stay

The position of the hotel amongst the buildings of the old Greenwich Hospital and Naval College is excellent. The quality of the service was excellent and was extremely good value for money. The quality of the breakfast was such that it was probably one of the best I have ever had. (3304561925)

Very comfortable and exceptionally clean

My Wife and I together with my sister were down from Dundee to attend a funeral. We flew into London City Airport which was ideal as Dockland Light Railway took us nearly to the door of the Hotel. The check-in was a bit of a farce as firstly the girl got mixed with myself and my nephew who was also to stay at the hotel. She then somehow mixed up the rooms for my wife and I and my sisters. That is my only complaint everything else was perfect. The only thing I would have liked to have known beforehand was that checkout was 9am (3304498083)

We know the area well and we needed to be located in London within reasonably easy reach of Bexleyheath, Canary Wharf and Herne Hill so Greenwich is ideal.We have previously stayed regularly in the very adjacent 2 star hotel and the rather sterile large chain hotels which are expensive and either without a restaurant or with a poor and overpriced menu. Your restaurant on the other hand for quality, value and the delightful ladies that served us dinner was exceptional. Strangely though for quality that must be the best in greenwich there were only just a few tables occupied. When we arrived we were not sure that we were in the right place as there was no Hotel indication but as your priority is conferences and corporate training facilities I am happy about this as I can feel more assured about future accommodation. There really was a feeling of exclusivity and value which I hope you can maintain. (3304332627)

Newspapers, tea and coffee were available in public areas as is an internet cafe. The room and bathroom were clean and fresh, and the bed comfortable.
