Unfortunately I had a room next to a family with young children who were running up & down the the corridor outside my room until gone 11 o clock and then took ages to settle down in their room - not ideal!

Needed decoration

The hotel looks nice enough and the rooms are well appointed, but what put us off initially was arriving to find our room reeking of recent tobacco smoke despite our requesting a non-smoking room. I know they say they can't guarantee this, but they could at least make sure nobody smokes in our room on the day we arrive & air it before we arrive. The next disappointment was getting a neatly folded ironed towel with old blood-stains on it on our second day. That is just disgusting, and they obviously need to do something about their housekeeping. Other than that, most of the staff were pleasant and courteous, and it is a good base from which to explore the southern lakes. (3304974214)

It was the perfect hotel in many respects the staff was excellent and the meals were magnificent. the room was a little to warm but that was sorted without any problems. i would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to have a relaxing break (3304133980)

Overall the hotel was nice and the food in the restaurant was of good quality. The swimming pool was okay. If the little things could be attended to the whole experience would be that much better. (2570267)

The hotel was pleasant, but the rooms were basic.

Room needs redecorating. The en-suite fan was very noisy and did not work. Hotel staff said it would be looked at, but it wasn't.

We enjoyed our stay and the food was good. A pleasant room,if not a little noisy, as it overlooked the main road but as we purposely prebooked a four poster room ,felt unable to ask for a quieter room.I would therefore have liked to know more of the hotel's location. (2516835)
