Hôtel Balladins Limoges

A good value for money hotel, but located in the middle of an industrial estate very close to the motorway. The location map was not very precise and took several trips around the roundabouts to find it as it was at the bottom of the long list of info signs. (97784887)

on arrival we discovered none of the staff spoke english but they were very paitient with our basic french and soon had us checked in. booking was easy on line and we found that the directions from the airport were clear and easy to follow. accomodation and breakfast excellent value for money. it would have been nice to have extra info on booking as to how far the hotel was from shops/restaurants as it is has'nt got either. a vending machine for snacks would be usefull as well!!! very clean and well maintained, fair sized room for a budget hotel and room was serviced every day which wasnt expected but was apprciated.

could do with tea/coffee facilities in room and larger towels.

I had read other reviews, so I was aware of most of the shortcomings of the hotel, including the lack of bathtowels! Whilst there, I did notice that a bathtowel was available upon the deposit of some personal id, but the notice was not prominent. As stated elsewhere, the main reason for choosing this hotel was the offered free WiFi link, but as this was not working (I think settings on hotel pc were incorrect) I would have preferred to stay elsewhere. WiFi internet connection did not function, this was one of the main reasons for staying at this hotel. The location of the hotel is isolated, other compeitors are grouped together next to restaurants Hanging facilities fot clothes are extremely minimal, and the decor was slapdash (unprofessional)

Easy reach of motorway, secure, clean and comfortable

The door l;ock did not work, but I was given another room.

arriving late night, & simply want a cheap, clean, & functional stop over - great. If you want a traditional, or have young children, or want a stroll - not a good choice. NB : This is a national hotel-chain of low cost good clean accomadation, get a copy of their locations nationally (2932341)

Functionally, & practically as a sole traveller, cheap & cheerful. Poor location in middle of a trading estate. i.e no peripheral services available.
