I had stayed at this hotel before and was in a huge room, however on this occasion was in a relatively small room - they vary enormously. I would certainly request a bigger room if I were to booke again. The location is excellent. (97304923)

The accomodation is pleasant although starting to show signs of age, particularly in the bathroom. The location is excellent for shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife. Parking available across the road in a secure NCP car park with the hotel paying some of the cost of that.

We did not have hot water due to some failure with a boiler, however we did get a reduction on our bill of 50%.

Great staff and a beautiful hotel, bar & restaurant - Classy!

most aspects of the hotel are nice and the location is great with some extremely nice restaurant close by and the one in the hotel is great. The main drawback was the tepid shower and the odd member of staff who were rude for no reason. That just put a damper on the entire stay. I stayed in another hotel in Nottingham and, although the hotel was not as modern, the facilities were much better, the staff much more helpful and the stay was much more pleasant and better value for money. Therefore, would recommend staying elsewhere. (97359241)

Room was nice, modern and clean. Hotel restaurant was realy nice and the food was delicious.

Slightly pricey in some aspects -

Unfortunately there was a water leak that caused difficulties for the staff which affected seriouly affected breakfast-the food and the coffee were unacceptable and the hotel has been informed. However, Lunch in the hotel lobby, however, was very good. (99515419)

This hotel is in a perfect setting if you are visiting Nottingham for shopping, restaurants and nightlife. It is within walking distance of everything. The provided directions were not helpful from our direction of travel so we recommend doing an 'autoroute' before you set off. The room was not that big but spacious enough for an overnight stay. The quality of the breakfast buffet was good. (99465283)

The experience was the most enjoyable of a 12 day stay in the UK. I had experienced a variety of accomidations in London, Manchester and Nottingham. I stayed in only 3 - 4 star rated locations. This was the only location that was completely what I have come to expect from such ratings. From the moment of arrival I was treated well, check in was fast and friendly, the staff volunteered info about the area, and was friendly but maintained a very professional demeanor. The rooms were extremely well appointed and well maintained. During the stay I stopped in the bar but unfortunately did not have the oppertunity to dine in what appeared to be a very nice resturant. I later found out it would have been an excellant choice! The desk staff responded quicky to all of my requests, wether it was merely information or to acess services, such as taxi's. Checkout was a breeze. There will be no hesitation to stay at the Park Plaza again! (3304203671)

In the lobby by the elevator, there was always the smell of cooking oil. It is probably a minor ventilation issue. Its the only thing that stands out.
