Well located, stylish hotel with classy decor, very well laid out. Attentive staff and good ambience and atmosphere. 24 hour parking in Chiltern Street is a minute walk away.

Despite arriving at 2pm as advertised, no rooms were ready till 3:20. The luggage we stored during this wait had been opened and an item of clothing placed inside!!!

A very nice hotel with excellent staff and facilities,2 minute tube ride and you are in the middle of everything,theatres,restuarants,shops, ect ect. I booked this hotel as it was my partners 40th birthday,& she was over the moon. (97071016)

The house keeping personnel are a bit to keen,up to 4 times aday they called at the room for various different reasons,(not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing )

The variety of the food available.. The arabic menu was excellent.

Very little although the fact our floor was being decorated on our arrival without us being informed was a little dissapointing.

I thought the staff were great, although none of them were English (not that that matters, just a reflection of the hotel cost cutting by using cheap labor). The room was small, noisy and the hotel was laid out like a warren. Maybe there are better rooms, but based on my experience I won't be going back. (3304891199)

The hotel situation was good, the bar area and it looked like it had potential. The staff were great, the bar was excellent and friendly. Everything worked.

The room had noisy airconditioning outside the window, the view looked out onto a dirty flat roof covered in old cigarette butts, the noise made it difficult to sleep. The room was small.

We go to London 2-3 times a year on business & this was the first time we stayed here because the usual couple of places we stay at were fully booked. Would still prefer to stay at our usual places strictly based on location of the other places as they are better suited to our work. Rooms here were as nice or even superior to our other places but location would win out over the rooms. As London can be quite wet and damp at most times of the year, hotel should have better heating!! (3304681853)

Room was very clean & a nice size for a London hotel room. Modern style bathroom & shower also very nice.

Room was freezing cold - could not get thermometer to go over 19C - asked for & was sent a heater but only felt warm under the covers - taking a shower was quite difficult as room was so cold. This was the only negative about my stay in this hotel.

Staff very helpful

Stayed here for a weekend, the hotel was very inviting and cosy with lovely fires in the lounge areas and the staff were very welcoming. The room was very pleasant and clean and had a good shower, the heating controls were very easy to operate and heated the room superbly. The £16 breakfast. It was heated up, rather than cooked. We ate out the following day. Also the room was not made up during our stay. We went out for the day, came back and found the room was just as we left it.

The contemporary style of the hotel, the fires, the artwork, the loos! The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was great.

Would have liked more teabags in the room and more hooks in the bathroom. We rolled into the middle of the bed so we didn'think the mattress was all that great. Also, it was a very cold night and the room seemed cold, we couldn't heat the room up any further than was set on the the thermometer. I had to have a bath to warm up.

The Mezanine rooms were a bit small, we were able to change.

It would have been useful to know if smoking/non smoking rooms available as my daughter who was staying with us could smell smoke and as she is pregnant she found this off putting slightly. The cleanliness downstairs in the lounge etc was exceptional. (1689993)

We stayed the first time for our wedding in 2004 and had our reception there.We had since stayed on valentines day and 1st Anniversary and numerous non-occasions since. We have always found staff helpful and friendly and the service excellent. We often get upgraded due to the number of times we have stayed and will stay more times in the future. after having stayed at the hotel on several occassions we find that the continental breakfast is very good, but when you arrive at breakfast in the last hour of serving it is rare that a choice is available. ie, sunday morning there where 1/ no croissonts, 2/ no bread rolls, 3/ no orange juice, 4/ a pot of tea arrived after we had eaten and where about to leave. The staff where pleasant but seemed to be run off there feet with little to work with. still enjoyed stay, but you did ask! (1686862)

When i booked I said that I would be checking in at 12( I had theatre tickets booked for 2pm), when I arrived I was informed that my room would not be ready until 3pm but I could have an upgrade for a further £15!! The money is not important, it was the fact that I booked to check in at 12 and didn't hear anything to the contrary. The room was great but was very cold and the heating didn't happen. Breakfast was booked and came to the room 20 mins seperately so my breakfast in bed with my wife didn't happen - Wife very unhappy about this!! Rating this hotel I would say 5 out of 10 for the experience based on the quality of the room mainly which was great, the service was not!! (1531341)

Had a good stay, the atmosphere was really nice. I loved all the decorations and general feel of the hotel, great care went into making it a special place. The food in the restaurand was great, shame there where not more people/guest eating there. It would also be a nice place to stay in the winter because of all the fire places. (1291943)
