Leaving for meetings I left my luggage for six hours before picking them up enroute to the station. Later I discovered I had left my toiletries case in the room's ensuite but no attempt had been made to get it back to me in time (via the left luggage) or since. (99434266)

Old-style rooms. Helpful front-office on the first day.

TV set positioned lower than the bed and so unwatchable from most of the room. Outrageous internet charges. Location away from other restaurants, shops. Lack of tourist brochures to the city itself.

friendly staff and lovely acomodation

My mother is wheelchair bound and there is no facilities to visit the hotel with her as there is no lift and no rooms on the ground floor.

Clean and comfortable

Room a bit small

Being a three star hotel I expected the environment to feel fresh and clean. There was no doubt the hotel was clean but it was not fresh to look at. The decor was old and the carpets had seen better days. The restaurant was recommended to us by the reception staff as being of a high quality, the food served was what I would only class as pub food and poor at that. The second evening of our stay we went elsewhere to eat. The breakfast was also of a very poor standard and when asked to change the stewed coffee it was very obvious that half the pot had been poured away and hot water added. If this had been a two star hotel with two star prices I would have then been less critical. To pay three star prices and not recieve what should be expected from a better quality hotel is far from satisfactory. (3304774901)

The room was clean and the hotel offered no smoking rooms.

The decor was shoddy in parts. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke as soon as you entered the hotel. The quality of the food was very poor for the prices paid. The breakfast, both the cooked and buffet style was poor value for money.

The staff were friendly, the Hotel was clean and pleasant.
