Palace Hotel

Very Comfortable, well appointed hotel with clean, nicely decorated rooms and warm comfortable beds

Unfortunately, on the last visit the TV remote control didn't work and the location of the room meant that I was disturbed most of the night by inconsiderate passers by, both people (singing loudly) and cars (sounding horns even at 2-3 o'clock in the morning

Overall experience was very good. I have stayed at this hotel twice before in the past 12 months and found it great everytime. (97274768)

The consiage on the afternoon of our visit was excellent unfortunately i didnt get his name. Everything was very nice.

Embarrasing when asked about the package we had bought through yourselves that included a glass of champagne and capapes during the stay as staff said never heard of such an offer.??????

After reading some of the reviews we were worried about what to expect. I shouldn`t of bothered worrying as the room was excellent very clean tidy and no smells, as was noted in some of the reviews,and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful if they tried. (97912659)

The room was large and quiet and had excellent easy chairs.

The television was a little dated with a bare minimum of stations and did not have teletext.

The palace hotel is generally fabulous - all the rooms seem to be unique and some of them are amazing. The staff are nice enough but until recently it had kind of a faded charm - that might all change with the current rennovations though.

The breakfast at £14.95 is a compelte rip off.
