A good hotel with a friendly staff. Always clean and never had an problems with noise. (107284910)

Hotel is clean and staff very friendly. Only ever had breakfast which though good.

Breakfast - had to ask for drinks and then wasn't offered any toast, have stayed many times before and this has never happened before. Also perhaps it would be nice for the person dishing the breakfast (you take a plate and say what you want)to ask if someone would like more than one item as the plate can look very empty with one rasher of bacon, one half of tomato and a few mushrooms. I am sure you could ask for more but it would be nicer for the disher up to offer as you wouldn't be made to feel greedy not really a bad point but can't help being a fussy eater.

a very freindly hotel i would stay there aqain but in a different room as the economy suite was at the back of the hotel the room was well heated with tv and tea and coffee facilities which were very welcome. the only negative side was when my wife and i booked in the lady in reception once she had established who we were and were in an economy suite and we were not taking part in the hotels christmas festivities she was more concerned about telling us what we could not have than welcoming us to the hotel and ejoying our stay. that i found a bit upsetting. other than that we did enjoy our stay... Hotel was as expected, not a glitzy chain, but cozy and family run. Breakfast was excellent. Room comfortable, nice view over sea, with moon reflecting off the sea at night, and sun rising over it in the morning. (99962570)

I found the staff to be very helpful, however the general overview is that the hotel was not up to the standard that you would expect for the price in which you pay. The rooms are poorly decorated and the hotel entrance and hallways are dull and unwelcoming. Access to the facilites were poor....there was only one iron avaliable for the whole hotel. The hotel car park is too small for the accommodation. (99438381)

Insufficient parking for guests, the inability of the check in staff to process a cheque even though it was accompanied by a guarantee card. The lock on the door was unstable, the double bed was actually two singles joined together,the ensuite was freezing, the duvet was inadequate. In essence we were so disappointed that we booked into another local hotel. (99045667)

Had a lovely sea-view. Hotel was very relaxing and friendly. Excellent location to pier and high street.

Room was on a slope, which tended to make me feel slightly dizzy. Might not be suitable for older people or people that suffer from lightheadedness.

The full price of the room is expensive for such basic accommodation

i would like to have known there was a wedding going on at the hotel with a disco in the room underneath us until midnight on saturday! they did offer to move us but not to a room of the same quality. i would not revisit but the hotel was adequate for a 2 night stay. (99912677)

that would would be a wedding party being held downstairs...the music was very loud and could be heard in the room...luckily we are a young couple and were out for the evenings, but if we wanted to have a nice quiet night in we would have been drove mad by the sound of the music vibrating throughout the room (3304667093)
