Hostellerie De La Semois

Unfortunately we can only put a negative view of the hotel, but I am sure that if we had not been locked out we would have had no complaints. (108084558)

Room very clean,good bath and room was of a good size.

Lack of communication, hotel was locked up overnight and we were not given any indication to this. Basically we were locked out at 11.30pm so had to find accomodation in hotel up the road,luckily for us we were in a place where there was other accomodation. We were told that this was not the first time that it had happened!!!

We enjoyed the trip, but let down by above. Patron did show us the newley reburbished rooms, and once finished I am sure hotel will be great. I would book again, but ensure hotel finished! and that Belgium is open - end April seems a good bet. The patron didn't speak any English, so brush up on French. The hotel owners are also developing an art centre etc which again will be good when finished. (97419526)

Lovely location, friendly people, wonderful scenery

Hotel was being refurbished, so BOTH the Bar and Restaurant CLOSED. Also most of the other restaurants in town closed, ended up at Italian Pizza Restraunt - although food and service here very good. Breakfast poor, but see above for obvious reasons.
