My husband was mugged/robbed when he was on his way to the hotel to claim our bags that we had left at the hotel when we checked out. Then, he reported this to the staff at reception and he asked if the police can be contacted/informed about this incident. And the staff at the reception just said: No, no police.... That wasnt very helpful at all!!! As it was our first time in Belgium, perhaps the staff would have warned us that the hotel is near dodgy areas or that there are lots of pickpockets near the area. That would have warned us and we would have taken more caution going around the hotel's area. (97712600)

The hotel is very cheap compared to others in a similar location, and so given that it was a great value. The room was small, but I think that comes with the territory. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast, which did cost and extra five euro, was great and I thought well worth the price. The shower had some problems at first (really low water pressure), but a service person appeared to fix it very very quickly. The location was great, right next to the Bruxelles-Midi metro/train/bus station- from there you could get anywhere in the city easily. (97790210)

The location of the hotel was excellent,walking distance from the centre and only 5 minutes away from the train station. It served good breakfast,the staff was helpful and pleasant. (97368412)

The beds were very comfortable.I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room.Bed sheets and towels were changed everyday,everything was tidied up,the room was very warm and cosy.
