Helpful and welcoming staff. Lovely accommodation and grounds. Excellent restaurant meals - good value for money set meals, breakfast less so.

The room we were originally shown was 3 flights of steps up (like 30 plus steps in each flight) Although the rooms look pleasant in the photos they are dark. Perhaps the Orangery rooms are more pleasing although they are smaller. The staff were very helpful (97227481)

The Chateau is very imposing and nicely situated

Too many steps to get to the rooms. Furniture and furnishings all looked tired and needed attention

Curtains did not keep sunlight out

Our stay was everything I expected. An individual style room in an ancient chateau. The public rooms were hung with tapestries and sculptures and contained period furntiture but were still relaxing . The grounds were extensive and dotted with fountains and the setting of the hotel surrounded by a moat was fantastic. The evening meal in a separate orangery meant we got a little wet as it was raining in the evening but the waiters were attentive and informative and the six course meal excellent. (97865595)

Atmospheric room in historic location

No TV in room which is not neccesarily a bad thing !

i would love to stay in this chateau again. it was set in lovely grounds. the staff were excellent and so was the food. the room was very clean and spacious. excellent place for peace and quiet and relaxation.ther are 3 set menus in the restuarant, we had the cheapest one and the standard of food and service were excellent. i could'nt find fault with it.
