Good location and only about 30 miles from Le Mans. Some decent places to eat and a couple of bars to drink. Overall a very decent place to stay and great value for money (99887712)

Great service and very welocoming host - we were a group of six motorcyclists and the secure parking was really welcomed. We've stayed here before and probably will do again next year

Overall a smart little hotel situated in a small but lovely little town with some good restaurants and bars, a very good saturday market selling lots of fresh foods & crafts. The town is ideal for the Le Mans 24hr and easy to find, about 45 mins casual drive if you use the national roads obviously a lot quicker on the peage. I will defeniately stay here again. very helpful staff, great value, very welcoming etc and there were four of us travelling on motor bikes and the hotel owner was great, coming out to meet us, giving us a map suggesting a lunctime stop over etc - really couldn't have done more for us. (3304101855)

The owners/staff were very friendly and helpful, 5 of us went for the motogp @ le mans on motor bikes, which were securely parked. We were made very welcome and the room was lovely and clean with full facilities. It was easy to find and very accessable. Would recommend it to anyone and the price was brilliant too. (3304474287)

The family room for 4 persons was to a satisfactory standard although the ensuite was rather small. Refurbishments currently underway will improve the communal areas. Breakfast is additional to the room charge. (2636377)

Very French in the sense that we were in a non-tourist town with welcoming locals and awoke to a local market selling fine produce.

The hotel is currently undergoing extensive improvements which were not known about until the time of arrival. August 2005.

The brochure photograph does not do the hotel justice. A wider view from across the Place would convey the charm of the hotel more effectively and highlight its pleasant location. My wife and I came for the 24 heures du mans and if we had known how pretty the town and surrounding area were, we probably would have stayed longer. Although 65 kilometres from the LeMans racing circuit, the journey was easy and took less than an hour every time. The proprietor and his wife were polite and helpful, particularly with driving directions. I would rate the hotel as excellent value. (2000965)

The room was clean and tidy. We also had pleasant view of Place St Pol.

I think the proprietors are doing all they can! The ongoing renovation caused no disruption and I'm sure the hotel will be beautiful when the work is completed.
