Our stay was one of the nicest my wife and I can remember over many years of holidaying in Europe. The staff could not have been more helpful. The included breakfast was excellent. The proximity of the hotel to the centre of Bruges made the whole experience very relaxing. The hotel obviously attracts the kind of visitors who appreciate peace and quiet. Most of the time I felt we were the only people there -except when we met at breakfast. (97598708)

This is a very nice and clean family hotel. It is located in the very centre of Bruges, on walking distance of literally every highlight the city has to offer. Various restaurants in the surroundings ascertain satisfaction, also for the more Bourgondic amongst us. One really doesn't need a car around when staying here. This makes the fact, that lonterm parking in the direct surroundings is inavailable, less important. Not suited for light sleepers, as the hallway floorboards are rather noisy and the beds really are a bit too soft for comfort. The absence of an elevator in combination with two flights of winding stairs make this hotel, and more specific the rooms on the second (top) floor, less fit for disabled and asthmatic visitors or people with very young children. Overall: this hotel offers absolute value for money! (99165902)

Creaking corridor floorboards, bed too soft for comfort (stiff back in the morning).

Particularly pleasant and helpful staff. It was adequate for the purpose of sleeping in, but not for staying indoors if the weather was bad. Plenty of information brochures of local attractions, and excellently situated for exploring the city, in a relatively quiet street - even though the room was on the ground floor, there was little noise disturbance. Easy access: comfortable beds: cool (heating was not turned up too high as is usually the case): good hot water.

Somewhat antiquated and jumbled: oppressive colour scheme (walls etc.): It seemed like sleeping in someone's living room: interior would benefit from a complete makeover - but it had its charm!
