Hotel was easy to find from the A1, Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was very quick. The website advised no parking facilities, but there was plenty of space to park. Awful smell in room as soon as we arrived, but it didn't go away. The room was clean though. We were staying in the area to attend a wedding, but friends arriving on the day weren't allowed to check in before 2pm and no allowances were made for this as a one off. (97577272)

No problems apart from having to go to reception every evening on return to my room to find that the key code did not work and had to be reset, this was very frustrating. There was no decent seating for the bar area. It's purely for diners. Resorted to going to the near by Toby restaurant which had much better seating and the drink prices considerably cheaper. The staff were courteous and always helpful. (3305514630)

Bearing in mind we only stayed one night in this hotel our stay was very pleasant. Staff on reception were very friendly. This is the first hotel we have stayed in where upon we were not disturbed by other hotel guests during the night and therefore had a good nights sleep on a lovely king size bed. The room was very clean and tidy and had good facilities ( didnt like brand of coffee ) LOL. The website was very imformative as regards what facilities were available on arrival. Lacked a trouser press. For a comfortable seat you had to sit on the bed.

The room was different from other Companile hotel I stayed in Birimingham (which was bit better), not that I expected every Companile hotels to be exactly same.
