Comfortable stay. A sign in the car park to Reception would have been helpful! Breakfast very good. Restaurant staff night and morning excellent but evening meal was a disappointment. We also heard someone else complain. We had to wait far too long for a simple cold starter and then our main courses arrived as the first was taken away. It had clearly been ready for some time and had been re-heated. The sauce had a skin on it. (97083459)

positive comments It was a perfectly good standard room such as you would find in many hotels.

Even given that breakfast was included in the rate, a Travel lodge would have been better value. (99121771)

positive comments It was within walking distance of Leeds Castle
negative comments Not room to swing a kitten..let alone a cat! Poor value for money

positive comments I thought the rooms were very clean and kept in immaculate condition. I felt the bathroom and all facilities were brilliant.
negative comments I thought breakfast was a little expensive but was very tasty.

i feel the overall experience was very satisfactory and the hotel itself as well as the room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. the only point i might like changed would be the room service and hotel restaurant prices being reduced slightly. I had the breakfast in the morning and although it was enjoyable enough, i felt it was a high price for what i got. i did not order any room service as the prices put me off but would certainly have been tempted had the prices been 20% lower. However, for a 4 star hotel I suppose this should have been expected. (99837229)

positive comments Stylish, simple, functional and practical
negative comments lack of enough towels

The hotel is easy to find and is set in beautiful grounds. Staff are all very helpful and very informative. Its only a quick 5-10 minute drive into the town centre of Maidstone by car and there is plenty of parking around town however if you do not want to drive into town the bus service only runs every 2 hours (on Saturdays). It is only a 5 minute walk to one of the entrances to Leeds Castle. It is the perfect location for a weekend away. (3305484240)

positive comments The room we stayed in was very clean and nicely decorated.

The location was excellent, the hotel itself very clean and welcoming with every amenity that there could be. The staff were to a one all friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a smashing menu and again, the staff were impeccable - also , as we were there on a Saturday, there was entertainment and it was really professional without being intrusive on our meal. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for all age groups, and I would imagine it would be great for family functions such as birthdays or weddings. (3305069993)

This was a very busy hotel at the time of our stay, therefore dinner in the dining room was extremely hectic, although the standard of food was good. (3305040598)

The staff at the hotel were very helpful & nice but would have preffered not to have to ask for imformation from them everytime I needed to no about hotel servises.Notice boards need updating with more info.We were very dissapionted that we could not use the health & beauty services as we were not informed that we would need to book treatments well in advance of our actual arrrival. The health club also advertise treatments and servises that they no longer offer. positive comments clean & practical

The hotel is an excellent place to stay if you are attending one of the open air concerts at Leeds Castle. The entrance to the castle grounds is only a couple of minutes walk but there is quite a long trek to the concert venue from the entrance. (3304906555)

positive comments The room was clean and presentable and all the domestic staff were friendly and helpful.
negative comments Our main gripe was the quality of the breakfast. There was an excellent range of juices, cereals, fruit etc but the cooked breakfast was awful. The mushrooms were soggy and bitter tasting and the scrambled egg was inedible.
