From start to finish everything was first class - As an individual away for a Christmas Shopping trip I felt most secure.

None really - to nit pic and I am sure if I asked these points would have been resolved. Only 2 pillows on Double Bed - fine for 1 person and several light bulbs were not working.

things went missing from our room (pakcet of chocolate biscuits opened and two taken out, bottle of sprite, two or three mini packets of chocolate hobnobs. I know this may sound petty but it made us wonder if our other propery was being looked at. Recported this to reception who reported to housekeeper. Whilst the receptionist apologised I did expect to hear from the housekeeper to ask for more details etc. Heard nothing - was this taken seriously or ignored?? Did not leave a good impression whatsoever. Room was in need of decoration - splashes of some kind of liquid on walls, paint scratched on other parts, carpet dirty in parts.

The Hotel was within 2 minutes of the A1 with several good resturants on the same estate. The Hotel staff where all polite and helpfull. It was a very pleasant stay. Good to have a restaurant and pub nearby so people don't have to go too far if on a short stay. The Metro Centre was walking distance which was handy. The hotel was nicely kept which is always very important and will obviously leave a lasting impression when thinking about future visits.
