though there were obvious issues with the internet booking system i would recommed and stay at a premier inn again, though i would advise to ring the hotel direct and not book via the internet. i was advised by the receptionist that the internet booking was a poor system, my reply to her was you should not offer a facility to book on line if the system is not up to standard (107524270)

the hotel was clean and suitable for my group of friends, the breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the stay.

i had booked two rooms on the internet, 2 adult females in each room, on arrival i was informed that they only had one room booked for us, i showed them the booking confirmation which clearly stated that two rooms had been booked for 4 adults. as there was no more availability all four of us had to share one room.

Eventually the room we got was great and tiding and clean.

The initial room we had there was a fault with the window. It too 1.5hrs for someone to come and look at it after numerous phone calls resulting in us not being able to get to bed till after 12. When someone eventually came they moved us to a new room no worries but it was just a little late in the evening.

This was agood quality hotel that was well priced. The rooms were of a good size for our family of two adults and two teenage girls. The room was well decorated and very clean with all necessary amenities. The power shower was excellent. The hotel had good lobby facilities where we were able to relax. (3305370872)

Good quality accommodation in a very convenient location, close to the Trafford Centre and not too far from Old Trafford or the city centre

Having checked in at 8pm we got changed and went to get a table in the restaurant at 8.30pm, on arrival the waiting staff told us the restaurant was full - it was not full it had a couple of tables in use and a party of 32. The staff could explain not why a dinning area of about 125+ could not cope at 8.30pm with a further 2 guests. The duty manager finally came to see us and offered a table at 9.30pm. This is unacceptable for a quality hotel, I stay away atleast 2 nights a week and have never had this happen to me before. (99317982)

The bar closing at 12 on New years eve was a disaster and I am sure that most people would not have stayed had they known. The staff were happy to open as there were many people there but the manager refused to open it when telephoned.When we arrived at the airport that day a passport was missing. The hotel said they checked the room and nothing was found. After many phone calls to them and notifiying the police 2 days later the passport appeared in the room!The hotel was excellent but there are serious problems somewhere. (99579464)

Bar closed at 12 on New Years Eve. Unheard of in Britain and not advertised or mentioned when booking made.

i have stayed in a lot of top quality hotels in the uk and i find the tulip to be up there with the best of them. the staff were very helpful, very polite and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. i would have prefered it if the leisure facilities were part of the hotel but it was not that much of a chore to have to go the quarter of mile or so to get to them. The hotel could benefit from separate bar/lounge facility away from the main reception area. 2pm check-in is also a little on the late side. The hotel is also a little inaccessible for pedestrians or those arriving on public transport.

I think with the cost of the accommodation breakfast should be included in the price. On the night i stayed i had returned to the hotel late and was unable to get a light snack.
