Cheerful, helpful staff.....very good location......available car parking.....comfortable bed in a compact but well apportioned room.....good breakfast in a clean and well presented restaurant. Will happily stay again.

Breakfast offered good choice and was well presented.

We were woken whilst asleep by a member of staff who blamed a water leak (into the restaurant below our room)on our forgetfulness ('Have you left a tap running?') rather than on teething problems from new plumbing in the Star Suite.

Food was excellent. Foyer, Bar and Restaurant areas very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Parking facilities poor. no lift to upper floors. Bath taps didn't work. Very little cold water pressure at the shower head. Room wasn't hoovered in the morning, bed wasn't made properly, thick dust on top of wardrobe ruined our cases.

Thought the location was fantastic.

Bar prices were a bit too high, the lead for the kettle only just reached the plug without it having to be on the floor.

Loo seat in very poor condition-reported but no actiontaken.

The staff were very friendly. We arrived 2 hours before our check in time, and the room was ready. We had a family room with one double bed and a single for our two and a half year old daughter. The beds were really comfy and the room was clean and more than adequate. The bathroom could have done with being spruced up abit, (it looked a bit water stained) but everything worked. My husband and I had dinner at the hotel restaurant - the food was excellent and the waiting staff very helpful and friendly. (3304873643)
