Great - room service food was excellent too. Only issue I have is one of variable pricing - it seems you can book rooms here when linking from several different sites and the price seems very variable. Not that happy about having pay for parking - basically most people staying there will have a car so you may aswell build it into the price. (99951905)

Called ahead to check we could park, but arrived only 20 minutes later to find all spaces were already taken and had been FOR OVER AN HOUR, so someone had obviously lied/guessed to us. Got to our room, opened the door to find a man showering (bathroom door open) HOW BAD A MISTAKE IS THAT? I have never had that mistake before. We went back to reception and their attitude lead me to believe giving keys to occupied rooms happens often! Rediculous. 'Complimentary' breakfast was a joke - they even ran out of tea! The rest of the stay was very average.

excessive pricing of the hotel bar tarrif and breakfast,

The grounds are fabulous. My only comment was that the sound in the bar was very very noisy - perhaps this is due to the low ceiling or something. We arrived about 10.30 and went into the bar, but there was nowhere quiet (noise wise). don't get me wrong I love a busy atmosphere and hustle and bustle - I think it is just the accoustics. It certainly wouldn't stop me from coming again. It is a fabulous hotel. (3304938631)

worth paying the extra for the connoiseur room and the jacuzzi bath.

The Award Winning restaurant was very disappointing, the service was fair, but the food was diabolical, complaint made at the time was met with excuses from the chef. Perhaps I should have looked closer at the signage of the restaurant - no mention is made as to who made the award - perhaps it was the chef himself!
