We had the best nights sleep in two weeks of travelling, so everything else really didn't matter. It was a really lovely hotel, and we enjoyed our stay and the town which we walked around a little, the hotel is close to the station and a small supermarket, and the directions given were easy to follow. A very comfortable room, the shower worked very well, the shampoo and supplies were generous, there was a hairdryer to use. Check-in was fairly easy and we were able to get an everning meal in the pub, which was quite good. We got the best nights sleep for our whole vacation and the curtains kept out all the light.

We were not given a reciept at check-in and had to ask for it the next morning, also it would have been nice to be told where breakfast would be held when we checked in. The room needed redecorating, with dark stains on the wall paper from the heater, also there was mould on the bath surround and the vent in the bathroom was full of dust, not big deals but seemed to show a lack of attention to the details. There were no face cloths provided.

The location was super. A great place to stay when visiting the locality as well as convenient for the train to London. Radlett has a great range of shops and restaurants.

I could not fault this hotel. The room was clean and spacious with every facility provided. First class full English breakfast was included in the price. The staff were always polite and helpful. Given that the hotal is part of a pub, the rooms were quiet and we were not disturbed by noise from the bar areas. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. A good hotel for an overnight stay for leisure purposes. I wouldn't recommend the hotel for corporate travellers on the basis of the room I stayed in as it had no facilities for working. The Red Lion was very centrally located for our visit to our relatives. The rooms were comfortable and very clean.

The hallway going from Reception to bedroom 9 has a damp smell all along the ground floor corridor, which may need to be looked into.

We only needed to stay for 1 night but if we happen to be in the area in future we would definately choose this hotel. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. It suited our needs as it is within 5 minutes walking distance to the Golf Club where we were attending a function, and it is in the centre of the town with a car park. (3304393746)
