Le Plaza

We loved the hotel and especially the room (314) which although facing the main road was set back a bit and was very quiet. We did not eat here and avoided the breakfast which at 18 euro continental, 27 euro american, we thought a bit expensive. The staff were friendly and effecient, and all spoke good english. The hotel was a tranquil oasis which was a pleasure to return to after the busy hubbub of the Rue Neuve. The room was huge as was the bed and the bathroom was fantastic.

Missed a morning coffee in bed, I know it sounds cheap, but it would have been great to have tea/coffee facilities in the room for a cup first thing in the morning. I could have ordered room service but I was not going to pay 4.50 euros each PLUS 4.20 euro service charge for a cup!

Vewry large bed; very good bathroom; plenty of storage; very quiet; reasonably central location - not too far from the lively centre but far enoug not to be disturbed by the noise.
