very cheap and so facilities and overall experience was what I expected!

Hotel could not find my booking, even with my confirmation number. Gym closed 1 hour earlier than advertised, evening meal very poor value for money! Breakfast OK. Internet wifi not working!Bedroom and bathroom very dated!

Location was handy, facilities were okay.

Rooms could have been cleaner and the beds need to be replaced, old and lumpy. Price for breakfast was expensive and we did not eat there at all after the first day. We also ended up eating across the road for dinner as the food there was very good and priced out much better than the Brittania Hotel.

Hotel is very warn looking and is in dire need of a face lift the breakfast looked awfull and the food selection was very limited the buffet was missing a lot of items listed and the full english looked as if it had been there for hours.

After arriving late at 10.50pm we was tired and just wanted to sleep. Our room was warm, comfortable and our beds were clean.

I was comfortable and it suited my purpose and budget but it was like staying in faulty towers. When booking in I was only charged for 1 night although I was staying 5. I was not told where to find any facilities and not offered the chance to open a credit facility for my stay.I had to go to reception every night but one as the keycard was not programmed to my lenghth of stay. I didn't even have a teabag left on Thursday for Friday morning and I only drink tea!!! Having said all that I would stay there again but treat the staff like they were beginners and ask about things you take for granted normally. (3304875249)

some very poor ineffiecient staff, having to move rooms, no offer of help on arrival when having to move rooms.

I was unaware that two coach parties were staying at the hotel. The restaurant was very busy at breakfast time and I had to leave the hotel without eating. It would have help to have this information so an earlier breakfast could have been planned. (3304781580)

Good value for money hotel and friendly staff

The plumbing. I have stayed in 3 different rooms in the hotel over the last few weeks and I could not get a decent shower in one of them. In fact i moved rooms one night because i could not even turn the tap on, neither could the hotel staff!

The room was clean and spacious, with every thing you needed for a one niht stay.

Three people and two tea bags did not work.

The hotel is a few miles out of the centre of Wigan , but easily reached by taxi (approx 10.00 gbp). If you are going to rugby stadium allow 1 hour plus for journey, we missed start of game due to traffic + sell-out crowd.Very clean comfortable hotel, with very friendly , efficient staff and a request we made upon arrival , concerning the room , was dealt with swiftly . We unfortunately didn't use the leisure facilities . (2869166)
