Beds are comfy and clean however the overall decor is in need of a refurb but it appeared that they were doing this when I was there.The food in the conservatory restaurant was good but the service was poor and I had to ask to be served every night. Live Earth was fantastic. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful with directions and any other queries.

The hotel smelt unpleasant of stale ale, gas and tobacco. The bathroom facilities were poor, the shower kept stopping and starting and probably the squeakiest and most uncomfortable bed I've ever (tried to) sleep in. I thought it was overrated at 3*.

The room was of a good size and generally very nice! The staff were very helpful. We only stayed there for one night so didn't make use of any of the other hotel facilities so can't really leave a full review! Room was available very early which was great as we has just got off a long flight. The room was clean. Staff were courteous and helpful.

A Room was available at very short notice - very useful in my business. It was also close to the business I had to attend the next day. The room was barely adequate, with very hard beds, and a non-functioning shower, all in need of complete redecoration. The room was adequate,although the accommodation was a little outdated and the carpet was dirty.

The hotel was adequate for my stay which was just a stopover before I caught my morning flight from heathrow. It was clean and had decent amenities (shower,bed,coffee making). It was nothing special and had no luxuries and was in need of modernising. (99855560)

Large rooms.

The bed springs were damaged and stuck in our backs! The decor was a bit beige and old fashioned. The bathroom looked a bit grubby, but it probably just the ancient paintwork.

The check in was adequate but needed a smile! The accommodation was away from the main bulding with poor external signage and lighting and I almost tripped in the entrance hall due to no lighting and a small almost invisible step just inside the doorway. Away from the main building.

For a budget room the accomodation fulfilled my requirements. The staff were attentive and the restaurant in the evening offered a varied menu, but added 10% service charge automatically to the bill although it was said to be non-obligatory. Choice for continental breakfast was limited but I followed a large party into the breakfast room and foods had become depleted. Allowances were made for the omissions. Internet Price

My room was over the bar area which had thumping music playing until 12.00 in the evening.The so called double glazing did not stop the noise from the busy road and aircraft overhead. The television was very old and badly tuned in giving a poor reception.
