positive comments I liked the accomodation a lot; the room was warm/homly and teh bar had a proper slection of songle malts!
negative comments I was not keen on the food at evening dinner. It seemed to be pretending to be posh; fancy titles but lacking freshness. I would suggest you alter to simpler dishes and concentarte on flavour / freshness rather than posh sounding dishes. I had pigeon breast that was just a bit hard/tough. Something tells me a well cooked curry/ stew would be easier to cook and would be well received - think about it. cheers

Ideal central location for town centre and the restaurant was excellent in the evening. Staff in the bar were very nice both serving afternoon tea and pre dinner drinks. However for breakfast we were asked to sit at tables set for four which had already been used by two people and not cleaned - when we refused and said a clean table would be nice the waitress was then quite shirty throughout breakfast. Apart from this one person the rest of the stay was good. (3305001848)

positive comments Good central location for town centre.
negative comments First room was very poor - broken tiles in bathroom decidely shabby but not chic - second room

The bar is too small for a hotel of this size. At breakfast, the cups and saucers on our table were very unclean and when pointed out to the waitress, all we received was a muttered 'sorry' and an exchange of crockery. The food was not good. The scrambled egg was mainly liquid and overall was quite cold. (2555488)

positive comments The room was clean and adequate for our needs although in my opinion, the television is in quite a dangerous place.

The receptionist was a little off hand. The room was a little too hot and there was no way to cool it down, opening the window had little effect. Although, this wouldn't stop me from staying again, overall it was ok, and not bad value for money. (2359873)

positive comments Clean, tidy, and overall ok value for money.
