Overall our stay was a pleasant experience. I think the leisure facilities were particularly good for this size/price of hotel.The only let down was the breakfast on the Saturady morning. I believe there was a function the previous evening and clearly they were not able to cope the following morning. Unprepared and with inadeqate number of staff. (99185048)

The check in time was a bit late. It should preferably be 1pm. Having said that our luggage was made secure so we could leave the hotel until later in the day.

Room service not very good. Part of meal was missing and was delivered without cutlery.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location being only a few minutes walk from the main shopping areas. The check-in process was efficient. The rooms, leisure facilities and public areas have all recently been refurbished to a high standard. The rooms were well appointed, comfortable and furnished to a high standard. Breakfast was good. The only downside was the expensive bar prices and car parking charges. (99276486)

An excellent hotel for staying at when shopping in Chester, as it is in an ideal location for shops, pubs and the bus station.

We treated ourselves to breakfast in bed, which turned out to be quite costly and the food put me off using the hotel for my evening dining.

A fire alarm was activated at 12.45am. The evacuation process was dreadful. No-one did a roll-call or checked to make sure everone was out of the hotel. No information was given as to the nature of the alarm. Thank goodness that this was a false alarm!

The room was comfortable and clean but there were a couple of items not working. the leisure facilities were lovely, clean but the steam room wasn't working (the hotel was chosen for it's leisure facilities). Close to the centre of the city which was wonderful.

Very spacious & immaculatley clean rooms, friendly helpful staff.

My only criticism would be that on the 2 days of our stay the weather was extremely hot & the air-con was not working.
