Staff were very pleasant and attentive, without being intrusive. Our particular room (O2) was excellent, although I think we were lucky to have it, as having viewed our friend's rooms, it appeared to be exceptional. Like everything else in the hotel the grounds were well kept. We have a very good dinner, with a good range of options on the menu.

I struggle to find any

Our stay was a very pleasant experience. We had been phoned earlier to ask if we required an evening meal. we were so glad that we agreed to this, as the meal was a highlight of our weekend. The staff answered queries and also gave directions to a wedding venue, printing off the routefinder for us. The website details need updating, particularly the photos of the restaurant as these were misleading. Some people may not book based on the quality of the restaurant appearing in the photos. hence we were pleasantly surprised at the tasteful refurbishment. (97023095)

The hotel is pleasantly situated. The staff were very helpful. The restaurant had been excellently refurbished and the food was of a high standard, with a lot of choice. the ensuite room was pleasant with the bathroom furnished to a high standard.

Our son had been married at Stirrups 3 years ago so it was a nostalgic return visit. We were disappointed in the refurbishment that has been done as it seems to have taken away much of the original character of the hotel especially in the bar area. the staff were on the whole not as competent & friendly as on our last visit, although that may have been due to the wedding resulting in extra attentiveness etc..We would have liked a larger room with a more adequately sized bathroom. A very pleasant hotel with easy access to Legoland, Virginia Water, Windsor and Heathrow The room was bright clean and well equiped with nice views across the country side.The breakfast was well presented and very enjoyable. Beautiful location, lovely building

Bed extemely uncomfortable resulted in a poor night's sleep

a very well presented hotel with friendly staff, very nice gardens for the after meal/drink walk off, peaceful location not near busy roads,well catered for children in room and restaurant,cosy bar area which gave to a relaxing break to unwind.very close for attractions ie:legoland,windsor castle all with easy routes to both.
