Staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel room was good and everything worked.

Room was quite warm, but it was a very hot night. Breakfast did not start until 8.30 and we had to leave at 8.00 to feed horses

Very good hotel for the night before if you are going to the Bedford Autodrome. Less than 5 mins away. Friendly check in staff with a nice warm clean rooms. Comfortable bed and a better shower than some 4* hotels I've stayed in! Highly recommended. (97494640)

Very clean rooms, great value for money, better shower than some 4* hotels I've stayed in.

The room was neat, clean and tidy. We requested an extra child's bed, which was in the room on our arrival. The Hotel is situated in a very pretty location. There was a local interest book in the room, which featured a country walk, which was very enjoyable. The staff were very friendly. (97828045)

We were a young group of friends attending a local track day and therefore we chose this hotel due its close proximity to Bedford Autodrome. The staff were very friendly and obliging and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

I thought the hotel was quite expensive compared to neighbouring hotels with more facilities.

I was surprised about the quality of the rooms and the Hotel. Very good value for the money.

The low beam in the bedroom over the bed and over the basin in the bathroom. Being 6ft 4inch tall it was quite a hazzard!!

Thankfully I am not a tall person but it would have been useful for anyone nearer 6 foot to be informed of the low beams and placed in a room that did not have a beam running directly over the sink in the bathroom. (3304567515)

We have used the hotel several times and always seem to get the same room, which is great. The rooms are charming with low beams and the pub is a very relaxing and charming place to sit. Staff are very friendly and breakfast is brilliant! Its also very convenient for our favourite restaurant, The Strawberry Tree, which is 30 seconds walk away and is our main reason for using the Queens Head.

If you are fed up with the big chain hotels and looking for a country inn, this will do just fine. Adequate accomodation was boosted by some excellent food and the best bangers and mash anywhere. (2804159)

staff were competent, but for a small country type hotel they did not come across as particularly warm and friendly - could improve here.

The shower and bathroom ceiling were mouldy, infact the whole corridor smelt musty and damp. The next evening we stayed in a hotel a few miles away that cost considerably less and provided a higher standard of accomodation. (2653903)

Only light bar snack available when we checked in at 3.30pm Had been driving for 5 hours and were going to an event for 6.30pm a proper meal would have made a difference. Also pub closing hours are limited 11pm for a pub that offers accomodation is poor. (2218938)

If the stay includes a Sunday there is no resturant menu available, only bar snacks, there were no other resturants locally, if we had known this we would have stopped on the way up for lunch. Also breakfast is late from 0830 and we had to leave before this so again we went hungry. To be positive, it was very close to the location we wanted to be in and that this does account for something. (2224974)
