Very quiet hotel, well presented and staff were very attentive

Directions given on the website were slightly unclear so finding you was a small problem.But thanks to your staff I managed to arrive. (97081086)

Wonderful location ,excellent staff and good food.

Noisy cistern which took a little while to settle down.I was also disturbed by someone knocking on a door at around 2.00am in the morning .I was unsure whether it was mine or another guests. I did not mention it to reception the next morning,but I am afraid it did disturb my sleep.Irrespective of this I would stay again as I am confident that this unfortunate occurrence was unusual.

Lovely setting for the hotel and good standard of room

The bed in our room was too hard for our taste

Overall the hotel was simple and the breakfast well cooked,however it would benefit from becoming a non- smoking hotel. Reception was very helpful and had a friendly manner both on arrival and departure (2909283)

Location and grounds

The bar was packed with a wedding party. Other guests could be provided with a small area to sit and have a drink. Very smokey in the small bar.
