The accomodation was easy to find and the staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely - looked like it had just been decorated and the bathroom was very nice too. The only comment I could make is that I had difficulty in drying my hair as the mirror was not near an electric socket. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very nice people. The only complaint i would have about the hotel is that on sunday morning breakfast did not start till 8am. As the purpose of my stay was to compete in the local triathlon i had to check out at 7.30am. therefore i was unable to have any breakfast. i did discuss this on check in. No alternative was offered. A lovely guest house with attentive and helpful staff. The room was very clean and welcoming, although the bed was a bit too soft to get a truly good night's sleep. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. One thing to note however, there was a radiator in the Breakfast room, but you couldn't feel it unless you were right next to it. No heater in the en suite bathroom - very cold.

We had to leave the hotel at 8.15 in the morning and were informed that only continental breakfast would be available as full breakfast was not until 8.30. Fair enough. We were then informed that we were only allowed one croissant each and one fruit juice. Breakfast proved to be a dry affair as no tea or coffee was available, no bread and/or toaster was available, the fruit juice was tetra pack and ambient, milk uht. We also had to settle our bill on the evening we arrived as no one was available to do the card transaction in the morning.It all rather took the gloss off the weekend. (3305447126)

My room was very basic up in the eves.. Sound proofing was a bit of an issue

We wanted to have a meal in the hotel which is supposed to be renouned for its' food but only bar meals are available at weekend and there was not much choice. We entered our ground floor room from a seperate entrance at the side of the hotel, this was OK as we had good weather but we wouldn't have fancied going to breakfast in the rain (the hotel did provide an umbrella in the room presumably for this purpose). Wardrobe under stairs - inaccessible - low door Wallpaper peeling off around on wall where shower was. Tea making facilities on a very small shelf and 2m away from nearest worktop.

We found the hotel to be very clean and well-maintained, and the staff very helpful and friendly. When we requested a fan for the room one was supplied within 10 minutes of asking. The fruit bowl and the bottled water was replenished every day. (3304858404)

Dial House Hotel is very easy to find and the directions given were excellent. The staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. The bedroom was large, clean, well presented and very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We had to leave early on our day of departure, before the kitchen staff started work, and we were disappointed with the continental breakfast which had been left out for us. It was OK and prevented us going hungry, but it was not up to the standard of the cooked one. Overall we were very happy with the hotel and thought it good value for money. We would use it again.
