Stay was brief and facilities proved just about adequate
(107249180)

Pleasant and helpful staff, particularly at breakfast

Building maintenance lacking, ie. doors not fitting properly/sticking shut.
Bed rather small and uncomfortable. Too much unavoidable noise from other visitors. 40% increase in cost since visit 2 years ago, no improvement in facilities

Clean and functional. Away from traffic noise. Well equipped room.

Thin walls. Some wear and tear on furniture. Bad telly reception.

I struggled to find any 'Quality' with our stay at the 'Quality Hotel, Andover'.
(99371018)

Central location.

Hotel is in serious need of refurbishment.
Worst night sleep of our lives. Matress must be as old as the building!!

It's not that this hotel is 'no frills', it's just 'old frills', compared to a modern hotel you just can't see how it represnts value for money. staff where friendly enough, but the surroundings and age of the room/furniture/bathrooms left alot to be desired. you couldn't help feeling as you got into bed, 'Just how old is this pillow i'm putting my head on?'......lack of hot water pressure to shower & taps dissapointed as well.

The directions from the hotel link were dreadful.
Reception staff were friendly.
Overall cleanliness could be better.
Decor could be better as it is dated and fussy which makes it look drab and dreary.

Location for Sailsbury and Stonehenge.

The bed it was very uncomfortable, we did not sleep and were aching after a few hours

I may have caught the hotel on just a bad day,but no effort was made to open the bar it was not that I was desperate for a drink I wanted somewhere to sit down with a female college and have a business discussion. The only other place was outside in the garden area...not good in the middle of October. So had to go to my hotel room which was a little embarressing.
The food was of a good quality both in the morning and also the room service menu.
But i would find it hard to reccomend this hotel to any other persons I know.

The breakfast staff and food were excellent, and the general frendliness of staff cannot be faulted.

The room had not been properly cleaned, the bathroom was dirty, with mildew on the shower curtain. And bar was not open at lunchtime.. because they were off the beaten track as a member of staff told me!!!!!
Peter from Kettering, United Kingdom;GB (Solo business traveller) 19 November 2005
Friendly staff. There was no remote control for TV. Stained carpets do not create a good feel. There was no shower but a disused jacuzzi used as a sunken bath with no soap or gel in reach. Breakfast was good although cold ham and cheese buffet was warm and unappetising due to being placed directly next to hot cooked breakfast area. Decorating work was being carried out during my stay which created some inconvenience whilst walking down narrow corridors with luggage and associated paint smell. However despite the above I would visit again expecting improvements on the above

Easy access from A303/quiet/friendly reception staff/good breakfast

No remote control for TV/stained carpets/disused jacuzzi used as bath/no soap or gel in reach of sunken bath!
