we were accommodated in a building to the rear of the hotel. we had our own front door key as well as our room key. the independence of this situation suited us. we dined well at the adjacent sister hotel, as the comfort inn only caters breakfast, the staff were very efficient and friendly but we were fortunate it was not raining on the return to our room. we found the room spacious and simply adequate for our simple needs. quiet seclusion, inexpensive, easy to find, nice area, genuine people. we were pleased with what we got for the price.

this was a winter break we had and the room was not heated when we arrived. we thought this a careless oversight.

Located on Hoole Road where there are many hotels & guest houses and is about 20-25 walk into the town centre. There is a bus stop accross the road. Staff are polite and friendly they even let us book in early. If you don't fancy going into town there is a pub/hotel accross the road called OAKLANDS which has great food and is great value !!! They also have live music and quizzes some nights. Overall very good accommodation & location and great value for money and I would definetely use again (2465428)
