The room was clean and the staff very helpful. The reception area was clean and inviting

The room was very small as was the bathroom. The furniture and fittings were old and worn. Breakfast was adequate but there were large queues and the breakfast room inadequate

double room booked very small, triple room ok - decor could have done with updating - reception very attractive, rooms much less so - no remote for tv & no hot water for shower following morning. taxi request at reception prompt following morning but very expensive - £25.00 - same journey via black cab £8.00 - disappointing

The reception area was pleasant.The room was correct and warm, very quiet, no noise from other rooms. It's nice to be able to make a cup of tea or coffee. Beds were comfortable and all linen perfect.

The only thing was the quality of the suasages and bacon, they were a bit tasteless, otherwise there was plenty to eat, lots of jam and butter, and bread and toast.
