Bath area grubby.Breakfast in bedroom was unusual. Noisy guests late at night.

It was a short stay and I was unable to sleep due to the various and continuous noises. However, the room was clean and well organised and as I have mentioned, the vicinty to the airport was ideal. I would not choose to stay at the hotel for a relaxing break, due to the noise, but If I need to use Newcastle airport again, I would consider using quieter accomodation (97344941)

The rooms were noisy, you could plainly hear nieghboring occupants, also there seemed to be a lot of loud banging of doors as occupants moved about the hotel

The food is very poor,breakfast was dried up by 09.00hrs. I that breakfast is served from 07.00 til 10.00 but leave out dried food, hard eggs, etc that had suffered under the hot trays is unforgivable, + the cost of the hotel is nearly double what I paid this time last year with no improvements (97981040)

The restaurant was awful for a Saturday night .There were a large number of guests but the only food was the carvery with no choice other than fish or roast ,this was adinner school not a restaurant .We would have paid more for a decent meal .The staff were unused to even pouring wine ,no opportunity to taste poured a huge glass full immediately .we had to choose 3 wines before they could find one they had in stock . Locality to the Airport.

The fact that you had to book a time for the retaurant which was 1.5 hours after my arrival at 6.30pm when I was already tired and hungry. Added to this it was a further 40-45 minutes before I received my meal which was incomplete (the drink I ordered was not supplied).

single beds are tiny, staff should realise when a guest checks in and is approx 1.90m tall and 18 stone, that a small bed is not adequate.

When I arrived at around midnight, the first room I was given had obviously not been cleaned since the last occupants, I was told that it had been used by flight crew who came and went at odd hours!! the bed linen was dirty as was the cups. The room itself had no telephone that I could see so I had to go down to the reception bags in tow to ask for a different room. In addition that room was noticeable more poorly equipped and shabby than the room I was later allocated (I would have found another hotel had I been asked to stay in that one). The room I got eventually was fine, however possibly due to the nature of the hotel i.e. being at an airport I was awoken both nights twice in the night with people moving around, so not ideal when working both days.Finally I have stayed in a number of hotels which are better equipped and decorated for less money.
