Overall, very pleased with balance of price, facilities, comfort. Would use the hotel again if I had business in the area, but might have to ask for a firmer mattress! (97159010)

Spacious room, with pleasant view over gardens at rear of hotel. Sufficient parking, even at busy times of the day. Convenient access to main roads, but hotel did not suffer from traffic noise.

Windows in poor condition - did not slide properly on their runners. Mattress far too soft - due to a chronic back condition I prefer a reasonably firm mattress.

Some of the prior reviews gave a poor impression. I found this not to be the case. Car parking was easy. Reception efficient. Room clean and comfortable. Early diner menu good value and the (included) hot buffet style breakfast excellent. (97488275)

Clean Hotel, service was friendly with helpful staff. I had the Sirloin steak for dinner, well presented, however it must have been the toughest steak I have ever tried to eat, left 3/4 of it. The supplier of your meat needs to be taken to task ! There was nothing wrong with the cooking, it was just a very tough bit of meat. Apologies were given by the waitress and an alternative was offered which I declined. (97704160)

The room given was not what we ordered and after waiting for their computers to be upgraded were finally given a room as we ordered. the only thing was that the TV remote was missing and we are still waitin for it, The room was rather dirty and smelled of carpet dirt and dust. the hotel staff were rather sad and could do with being made aware that without customers they would have NO JOBS.

I felt that the receptionist did not explain what facilities were available at the Hotel. I arrived for Breakfast at 9.55am and was promptly refused service. The Bar felt like a night club and I felt intimidated being alone. The overall decor was seedy and the Restuarant was not clearly defined. Overall a poor and fairly expensive expereience- but staff were friendly. The Hotel needs to define itself and the Market it wants to attract. (3304671334)

The hotel is under going major construction that detracted from the stay, once completed though this hotel should be warm and welcoming. The rooms are not cleaned to a high standard. The kettles had limescale and the carpet was dirty. The resturant had a good food selection that pleased the palate. The staff at reception are friendly and helpful. (3304345591)

The room was spacious and had one wall that was all window. Resturant served good food.

Higher cleaning standard in rooms. Bathrooms have leaky taps and housekeeping did not leave a bath mat or hand towel on day two.
