Overall a friendly, professional and clean environment, however attending breakfast was a negative point due to lack of seating. (3304255788)

Clean, tidy and staff were demonstrated a high quality of customer service.

The shower did not work properly, furthermore I could not attaend breakfast as no seating was available.

The room had character - it wasn't a box. Bed was comfortable. Room and bathroom were very clean. Good sized room and bathroom. Staff in the hotel were very friendly, cheery and helpful. Breakfast very good. Real log fire burning in reception area.

The hotel was pleasantly warm throughout (stay was in December). The staff were friendly. (3304038522)

The room was individual, situated in a quiet part of the hotel.

I ticked the box for a smoking room only to discover that on arrival there were none. This was the main reason for booking at this hotel. The dining room was not open as there was a function on. I feel I should have been informed of this. My wife and I went into the bar which was the only smoking area. There were no staff in the bar and when they did arrive although there were two pumps for beer there was only lager or guiness available. So no smoking, no food and no beer! (2685469)

The communal areas were clean and well presented. Breakfast was good if a little expensive.

Overall we thought it was great and would certainly stay again when visiting relations. Having made the comments about the tables not being cleared quickly I must say that I worked in a restaurant for a number of years and notice, my husband would not have noticed - so perhaps the comment is a bit unfair. As only stayed 1 night, arrived late, had breakfast and left erly it is difficult to comments, but overall a very good impression

Staff in the breakfast room seemed a bit harassed and tables weren't cleared quickly.
