Staff friendly, efficient, good restaurant attached. Room clean, bed comfortable and many pillows, extra blankets available. Shuttle to Gatwick on time, runs frequently and is inexpensive.

We asked for a wakeup call at 5am since could not get the TV to work. It did not come. When we checked out, desk attendent claimed out phone was off the hook. Too late to go and check. Luckily we woke up anyway. (97380508)

Evening food in the resturant was good.

Room needs a regular alarm clock/radio. The alarm on the TV would not set. We spoke to some gentlemen the next morning and they could not get it to work either. Menu tells you to press alarm and then a number. But when you press the number it goes to a channel. Also bed was not attached to headboard or maybe heavy enough. Tended to slide if you leaned back wrong.

Didn`t like the place at all - for me it felt seedy, ill kempt, I regret my choice, normally I find the Best Western name to be representative of a much higher standard (97243518)

Proximity to airport

Insufficient towels in bathroom - when I pointed this out the next morning, I was peremptorily informed that I should have read the information pamphlet to find the location of additional towels hidden in the room - Poorly done, not good enough by a long way. Towels belong in the bathroom where you can find them upon emerging from the shower, & they should be thick , not thin like paper towels. Beds worn out, need replacing. Very efficient staff and good restaurant. Even though we were close to the airport the room was wonderfully silent.

We used the hotel parking for our flight from Gatwick. On return, transport back to hotel was slow and car parking was tight and expensive - we mis-understood that parking was not included is room cost.

The room and facilities were sufficient for an overnight stay. The bus service from the airport to the hotel in the evening and return in the morning were good.

The hotel was very close to a major ringroad around London. Our room overlooked the ringroad with the result that from approximately 6am the traffic noise woke both myself and my wife and we could not get back to sleep again. For the price paid I would have expected the breakfast to be included.

The Hotel need to find a new laundry, as whoever does your laundry wash'sit with the laundry from an Indian Resurant. The Towels are dirt looking and smell of Indian Spices. The Bed linen also smelt the same.

The convenience and cleanliness

The airconditioning was not working and therefore the room was extremely hot and we were unable to sleep at all. Very frustrating.

We planned on using the hotel as a stop over for visiting London, there is a charge for the shuttle bus back and forth to the airport so that added up quickly because we traveled to the airport to get the train into the city. I wasn't aware of the fee until after the reservation was made I might have looked around more to find a hotel with a free shuttle. The room was clean and served our purpose even if it was small. Food was poor to say the least and lack of booked alarm call

I was charged for watching three movies that I did not see because I made some errors with the remote control. I had to argue to have one movie removed from my bill but was still asked to pay for two movies even though i checked in at 11 PM and checked out at 4:30 AM!? More importantly on the TV you have a message saying your charge will appear as room service on your bill This infact is not true. The charge appears as Rome service: video 02. Had I known I would not have requested a movie.

When we booked the Best Weston Hotel we were worried about what it would be like, not having talked to anyone who had stayed there, but we were really pleased with our choice. There were quite a lot of people waiting to check in when we arrived but the receptionists were very quick and efficient. The restaurant was very good value for money and the food was excellent.
