I paid twice what I'd normally pay to stay here due to the jacuzzi and pool, and I thought it overlooked the sea. The pool area wasn't very clean so I was uncomfortable using the facilities I'd paid extra for. Food was only adequate, but the staff were great. A bonus was evening entertainment. (107204636)

Nightly entertainment - location of Reception

The stay was very pleasant on the island. The hotel does not merit staying and is expensive. The standard of the room was atrocious, old. There was no shower in the room we were given and it was only upon asking that we got one of the rooms with a shower. The bed was very small and the hotel layout was such that you had to go through 200 fire doors with your luggages before you got to your room! This was very impractical and I can only imagine what it would be like to go through this with either kids or older people. Not a good hotel at all (99929395)

Although our room was a disappointment, the service provided by the hotel staff was very good. Everyone we were in contact with seemed happy to serve and enjoy their job which is unusual nowadays. We felt the bar prices were a little high for a 2 star establishment and therefore went out for drinks. Restaurant menu very plain - fruit juice as a starter, then cauliflower cheese main course served with cauliflower as a vegetable accompaniment, at £15 a head we ate elsewhere. We could have spent a lot more money at the hotel if the prices and menu choice improved. Parking was limited but adequate. (2495214)

The receptionist really made our weekend break and is a credit to the hotel. It was my fiances birthday and the receptionist arranged a cake and a lovely bunch of flowers to be delivered to our room when we were out, she was extremely friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Maybe more staff in the restaurant on weekends/busy periods. Overall though it was a good stay. I must thank the lady on reception on Sunday morning who accommodated us for an extra night when we asked. She even moved an arrival to a different room so we could stay. We got told before we stayed that we had a bath/shower .. there were in fact no facilities in the room to wash our hair (i.e. no shower or no add on to the bath plugs) - this did not really affect our stay but should have been made clear. We stayed 3 nights - Friday to Monday. Sunday morning the service was so slow for breakfast in the restaurant, after 15-20 minutes without even being acknowledged we left and ate breakfast out. This was abuot 9:10am
