Excellent value for money on a last minute deal

The hotel itself is a beautiful house with astonishing character and gorgeous grounds. The breakfast rooom and the staff there were excellent. Morning room, bar, drawing room etc. all 5* quality. My room 100% clean. Great hot water supply

Individual 'garden rooms' have decor my grandmother would have felt very much at home with ........faded. Reception area bleak (in stark contrast to the rest of the house).

A bit disappointing

The staff were exceedingly polite and helpful
The breakfast good and the grounds delightful
Hotel itself good

The accomodation seperate from the hotel was very disappointing the room shabby with the overall appearance of a boarding house

We went to a concert at Wembley Stadium a 15 minute taxi ride away. We had left it late to book accomodation near Wembley & therefore all Wembley hotels were either booked or extortionate prices. We had stayed at the Grims Dyke before for a wedding and were very pleased following our previous stay. We booked a standard room but were upgraded to a better room at no extra cost. Very pleased indeed and will definitely go back when in the area again.

Dated decor, but friendly, keen to help staff. Once refurbishment is completed it would be hard to pick faults. Except for the quality of English breakfast. There is room for improvement!

It was a haven in a busy city. I felt comfortable and secure. I had had an emotional day with my son undergoing a long operation in the Royal Orthodpaedic Hospital at Stanmore, only 10 minutes drive away and it felt like home. Thank you.

We had booked at another hotel in Ruislip, but was let down the week before we were travelling,We had no qualms about booking our short stay at the Grims Dyke Hotel, just by looking at the website which is very indepth and more than enough information about all the events that happen during the year. The grounds were kept beautiful even though it is still winter,we didnt get to see alot of the grounds as we didnt have enough time(maybe on the next visit). We thought that the reviews that we read about the Hotel were very informative, there was only a couple of trivial complaints which did not put us off at all, We are so glad that we chose this hotel. The staff couldnt have been more helpful, without being too over friendly, they always approuched us with a smile and an acknowledgement. We cannot wait to return and spend more time at this beautiful place.

We were absolutly thrilled with our accomodation, Even though we didnt stay in the Hotel itself, we found it more than appropriate in the Lodge which is only about 30 second walk to the Resturant.

A lovely Hotel steeped in character with delightful grounds.

It was a freezing night and the room was cold. The heating went off at night and came back early morning, sfter arriving from Inda It felt very cold.
