when checking out I metioned the cold room. the receptionist said I should have reported it! I think a good caring hotelier should know exactly what the rooms are like and should have taken preventative action before a complaint arises. room cold single radiator too small for room (outside temp above freezing) room colder than entrance lobby. only intermitant towel rail in bathroom the bathroom was freezing. Too cold to have a shower.

Most TV channels weren't tuned in, TV and light switch was on the headboard of the bed meaning I couldn't lean back on it to read without turning of the light!

We were staying at this hotel just as visitors for a local concert so it really was just a bed for the night - the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made up for the room - I wouldn't recommend for a romantic break but it served its purpose for us. (97651788)

Very cordial & helpful staff.

The room I was first given was dirty and had unmade beds. The second room was fine, but the TV sound did not work. Tghe staff were very apologetic and after a 1/2 hour wait gave me a new room. They also gave me a free couple of drinks and a newspaper. So, in general, I was satisfied. The manageress was very pleasant too. (99976867)
