Size and situation of room

very pleasant except for the few minor hiccups (3304687033)

very noisy room (301. there was a private do in the function room so the bar was packed out & we felt like we were pushed out.

We had booked a family room but did not receive a cot. Our room was not in the least spacious as promised. The tap in the bathroom was broken and the portions of our evening meal(room service) were very small in our opinion. (3304564432)

Overall, the hotel was excellent. Staff were really helpful, polite and cheerful and the food was excellent, as was the service. The room was beautiful with the huge windows being a big plus point. All in all, it felt very luxurious, without being imposing - just the right balance (3304417980)

I was really pleased that the room looked even better than it did in the picture! It was really bright and airy, the bed was really comfortable - all in all it was excellent

Although everything was to a high standard, I was a bit disappointed with the spa - there's only the sauna, and the steam room was a bit sterile looking (I've been in other spas that seem to make much more of a feature of the steam room - with mosaic-covered seats, softer lighting, and aromatherapy-type scents.

Unfortunately we had rather noisy guests staying in the room next to us and although reception asked them to be quiet they continued to talk and make alot of noise. It would've been nice for the hotel to offer us some sort of compensation - perhaps a complimentary breakfast. (3304410543)

The hotel itself was very nice and airy with nice decor. Great bar and restaurant and friendly staff and very clean.

Some of the equipment in the gym did not work. A mini bar in the room would've been good.

The staff were friendly, helpful and made every effort to please. The hotels recent refurbishment is of a high standard and my only criticisms are those made in my earlier comments. Excellent value for money. (2822601)

Rooms we occupied were comfortable with excellent decor.

air conditioning in the rooms would have made our stay much more comfortable during the night and double glazed windows would reduce street noises in the very early morning.

The hotel is under renovation, the price of a room is ridiculous .. i stay in 4/5 star hotels all over the world regularly and this place is an average 3 star english hotel trying to not to be. the bed is the only good part about it.. which is great but not enough by a long long way.. the staff would apear to be from a hotel training college. take my advise and if you do stay pop to the local shop up the road and gat some supplies becauce you get nothing in the room not even soap. The bed room was fine and the bed of a good standard, the hotel is still being done up and is in no way worth the rate they are charging.. its half finished with no hart.

everything apart from the bed. its very overpriced and trying to be something it isn't.. that being a quality allround hotel .. i could go on!

As above the bedroom was a little small, also the bar area would be a very nice area to relax and enjoy the atmostpher as a visitor to the hotel. I felt that this area had been wasted from the hotels point of view. As a visitor it would have been nice to relax with drinks in this area before going to our room. (2335436)
