online booking verygood and the online phone assistant very helpful when i needed further info and wanted to book very impressed ,hotel clean and tidy.

only a couple of bad points i have about the beach hotel was i wasnt infomed how to get in when hotel doors were closed after opening hours[had to ring a bell] causing a little distress,and entrance for parking sighn incorrect sending me down a one way street.

I really enjoyed my visit, and found the overnight charges remarkably reasonable in relation to the excellent facilities provided. The value for the price was amazing. Excellent food. I particularly enjoyed the self=service items at Breakfast, and appreciated having a pot of coffee rather than a cup of coffee.

Booking-in was efficient, but very formal. Would liked to have seen the occasional smile. Had to wait at the bar, as the staff-member appeared to have various duties apart from the bar itself. Very dissappointed with the times that the Internet was down, having specifically brought on-line study material.

Overall the service offered was very good. The majority of staff were very friendly and appeared interested in the well-being of the guests. I would use this hotel again but compared to other business hotels the hotel room was somewhat jaded and in need of refurbishment. (97777976)

The lounges were spacious and very comfortably furnished. accessibility to and from the car park is quite easy and is from the rear of the hotel. The lifts(2)are excellent and were never out of order. housekeeping staff were very accommodating and rooms were made up quite quickly. (97166711)

decor of room needs improving

Overall a nice experience and would stay again. Finally, the only other thing we noticed that could be improved upon, was the time that room service finished, however, it didn't affect us as we were only staying the one night, but if you were staying longer sometimes the option of being able to have a late night snack/sandwich would be a plus! The room was a good size and clean, it was good to have had a seaview, it did make a big difference. The lobby and bar area was nice and the breakfast experience I could say was one of my best, cooked to perfection. I have stayed in many hotels and I give you 5 out of 5. The staff we dealt with were also very good.

Our only critisism is that the decor etc. was very dated, especially in the hallways leading to the rooms, it didn't give us a good impression before entering the room! I think if the rooms were updated to a contenporary style this would be a very big plus, decor does make all the differnce these days.

This hotel is in a good position with a large car park and looking out over the sea- it is an older type of hotel- rooms had everything i needed and was very clean and tidy- the staff were friendly and efficient and i found the food to be very good- if you want a quiet type of break then this hotel is would suit very well- (99296675)

The first impression that I got as i walked through the corridor to my room was of a rather run down establishment. Everything was clean and freshy painted but gave an overall shabby appearance. My room however did dispell that first poor impression.

The hotel is careworn in the bedroom corridors and in something of a timewarp, the room however was great. As a business traveller no braodband internet access was disappointing, and the dialled connection charges were outrageus. The staff were friendly and service at breakfast was great with good food. Pleasant, warm, comfortable and olde worlde, which really was very nice. Evening meal menu not my choice but thoroughly enjoyed a very good breakfast!

Small downside was that shower in my room bit of a dribbler - not good at all.

The main reception area and bar/restaraunt were clean and well presented and the staff polite and helpful. The room was cold on arrival and had a radiator that did not work. We were supplied with a plug in electric heater in the room, which had i known of in advance, i would of stayed elsewhere with more modern working facilities. We enjoyed our stay and have booked again for our parents to stay next year. The bar was great and the lounge comfortable. Loved the sea view from our rooms. Our only complaint is that the bedrooms were a bit tired and were in need of decorating. The accomodation could use updating. The hotel was clean and the staff were very accomodating and professional. My only negative comment would be that the decor is very tired and dated for a £102 per night. The food was excellent, we had a three course meal and the staff were brilliant. (2792983)
