Quality Hotel Wigan

Moderate to poor. We often stay in cheap local hotels - where the service is personal, better - fresh cooked breakfast, etc. This so called Quality hotel lacked the Quality available in lower class hotels and in Travel-lodge type chains. Overall = below par. (107947578)

Excellent value for money. Unfussy yet everything provided for for a short stay. Great location for my personal needs.

Booked it for it's proximity to the JJB stadium, which was within 20 minutes' walking distance. The hotel is easy to find, the rooms are clean, if basic, the staff are friendly and it was reasonably priced. Good breakfast! (97659911)

Too near to a lift that made permanent grinding noise on arrival on floor, this was particularly noticeable during early hours as people returned to the hotel. It made sleeping difficult

Not informed that there were no restaraunt/bar facilities prior to checking in. After a long and tiresome drive we were dismayed that we had no refreshments apart from tea/coffee in the room. Bathroom sink was cracked and generally in a poor state of repair. Bath panel was damaged. Quality Hotels will not be high on our preferred list of places to stay (97153865)

The first room we were put into was freezing cold, (it had been snowing and raining outside and we had traveled 100 miles by motorcycle)as the radiator / heating was not working.This was not able to be rectified so we were moved to another room after about an hour. Good sized room, allowed to park motorcycles near to hotel, food and staff very pleasant.

It was a very hot day so air conditioning would have been welcome since with the window open for ventilation, it was noisy through the night.
