Russell Hotel

Quite agreeable, a bit dated, no evening catering, breakfast very good I had full English. We found in general it was OK for our stop-over, not sure I would stay longer than a couple of days. (97995616)

Good size twin room, no radio thro' TV,otherwise fine. Plenty of very hot water.

This hotel is greatly overpriced for the condition it is in and the web site is a misrepresentation of the conditions expected. Staff helpful and friendly but the room resembled what I imagine a DHSS hostel is like. (3304225429)

Friendly - Dining room pleasant

Rest of hotel needs total overhall. Particularly carpet which is dirty and tatty.

As hotels go the price was reasonable, however the room was poorly set up for the business traveller. The location next the common is nice though, and Tunbridge Wells is very walkable, so it's well placed. If you need anything from staff you tend to have to find them. (2879609)

Location was convenient to my client. Free parking. Nice building; large Victorian house.

Decor of the room was very dated. There was a desk but no proper chair to sit at it, making working in the evenings very difficult. Hotel bar was not very well stocked.

We asked to be away from the frontof the hotel. We were shown a room way upstairs which faced the front and reeked of smoke. We were given another room facing the back parking lot. we were fine. (2539414)

Efficiency..we had no towels

Would use again, prices of rooms a little higher than one would like. Shoestring staff coped Ok but sometimes had to look for them. (2475961)
