The accommodation was much as we expected apart from the fact that when we booked a triple room we expected 3 single beds. We woke late the first morning and the hot water ran out after the first shower. However we had no problem the second morning. (97641077)

The double room was a bit too compact. Should have more leeway. Reception should have verified properly the number of nights paid instead of asking to pay more for late check-out. Reception should portray a smiling & ever ready service.

The beds are confortable

The room was very cheap and close to hyde park which is where an event i was going to was held. Overall it was cheap and cheerful and was ideal for me and my parnter as we didnt spend much time in there. The staff were pleasant enough. I wasnt impressed with the breakfast at all. (99431950)

the room was very small and the bed knackered. Also the hairdryer was out of date by four months of a valid electrical test.

The staff were very good. They allowed my partner to check in early even though he did not have the proof of booking as it was in my name. Room was adequate and the bathroom clean and tidy. They allowed us to borrow an iron and unlike some hotels did not chase us to return it after 5 minutes. (99775803)

Difficult access with heavy luggage, cleanliness, furniture...

Room 3 was located in the basement directly below the reception which is manned 24 hours. It has no carpeting so we could hear every footstep, every roll of the office chair, every time the printer was used, every conversation, above us. No way we would get any sleep. We complained and were allocated another room on the 3rd floor which was much more spacious and much quieter. Beds not very comfortable either. Shower okay. Did not try breakfast. Overall, a value for money stay once we'd been reallocated a decent room. (99108240)

The location was fabulous. The room was spotless and always perfectly maintained. We had a rear-window room with a nice view of the park. It was very quiet and the curtains were dark and shaded out any light when wanting to sleep longer (New Year's Day). The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. We had a very nice stay here. It is a perfect location to tube stops, etc. Unfortunately the room suffered from settlement issues and the way the bed was placed in the room caused one side of the bed to be higher than the other. The bed was extremely uncomfortable to begin with but the additional slanting of the floor made one feel like they were either sleeping on a mountain side or in a valley. It was horrible. The breakfast staff were apathetic. I was completely ignored. I had wanted a full English breakfast but was never even approached or even asked what I would like. We left and never went back to the breakfast. Other than these two issues, I would definitely recommend the hotel. (1604466)

Spotless, clean rooms with views of a park, near tube stops on the central, circle and district lines, friendly staff.

The bed was horrible. It was like sleeping on a mountian or in a valley with springs popping through.
