the electric in our room failed at 11pm and was never restored. we had no lights and the room was not well lit by natural light.

Very noisy, staff coming into your room even though there is a do not disturb sign, room not being ready even though we checked in after the check in time, staff very uninterested. (107381367)

For attending the event we were going to this hotel was a great location. Very close to bus and train station. The gentleman who served breakfast was very friendly and the breakfast was lovely

I booked the hotel via the website in March, I rang the hotel a couple of days before my stay to pay the balance only to be told that they had no booking for me, resulting in me having to ring the website resulting in a high charge call from my mobile. Had I not rang to pay off the balance I would have turned up to the hotel with no booking and dread to think how this may have ruined my weekend

Having stayed in many hotels with varying standards, the overall service and standards in the Britannia were borderline poor/adequate, However if location is your priority and you can overlook the hotels shortcomings, the Britannia meets all the basic needs. (97635009)

The hotel has a prime location opposite the Train Station, a short walk to the shopping area and only 5 minutes from the Civic Hall...

The doors were locked when we returned to the hotel at 12:15am,another couple were also there and had already been waiting for 10 minutes and despite knocking and ringing the bell the staff did not promptly unlock. There was no apology offered until we had complained. The bed was in a poor condition and the mattress was well overdue to be replaced. The corridor which led to our room was unheated although other parts of the hotel were warm, the heating was not on in our room and it was bitterly cold when we arrived. The advertised bar is not solely for the use of the hotel guests,there is no parking and hotel guests have to pay to park in the British Rail car park at the guests expense. The hotel does not even offer to refund this to guests...

fair price as we booked online, would have been extremely disappointed to pay rack price, The hotel smelt horribly of stale damp, we were told this was due to recent heavy rains, but we stayed here two years ago and it was the same. The newly refurbished bar is totally soul less and bare, but the main complaint is the sound proofing: we were woken up at around 4 AM by people coming back and the windows are not sound proofed, so you can hear everything going on outside; this hotel coul be great, but it needs more detail (97260953)

The room was a nice size, nice cup of coffee in the morning, nice view. Right next to the train station

i found a brand new eyeliner pen that was not mine and wasnt there when i got there. strange. the toliet flushed but not right away, im fussy.

It was good value for money. The rooms were spacious and clean. When I'm back in Wolverhampton, I will stay there again. It's also close to the train and the city centre.
